Install Your eSIM
iPhone (iOS 17+)
- 1Open Settings β Cellular (or Mobile Data)
- 2Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan
- 3Select Use QR Code and scan your Humming Parrot QR code
- 4Label your eSIM (e.g., "Humming Parrot" or "Travel Data")
- 5When prompted, set Humming Parrot as your data line for travel
Android (Pixel, Samsung, etc.)
- 1Open Settings β Network & Internet β SIMs
- 2Tap Add eSIM or the + icon
- 3Select Scan QR code and scan your Humming Parrot QR
- 4Confirm and enable the eSIM
- 5Set it as your mobile data SIM when traveling
Enable Data Roaming
For international travel, make sure data roaming is enabled for your Humming Parrot eSIM:
Settings β Cellular β Humming Parrot β Data Roaming ON
Settings β Network β SIMs β Humming Parrot β Roaming ON

When you arrive at your destination, your Humming Parrot eSIM will automatically connect to the local network. You'll see the signal bars appear within seconds of landing!
Troubleshooting
QR code won't scan?
Use the manual activation code provided in your email. Go to Add eSIM β Enter Details Manually, and input the SM-DP+ address and activation code.
No service after installing?
Try these steps: (1) Restart your phone, (2) Toggle Airplane Mode on/off, (3) Ensure Data Roaming is enabled, (4) Make sure you're in a coverage area.
eSIM option not showing?
Your device may not support eSIM, or it may be carrier-locked. Check our compatibility guide.
